1. The Dhātu (Root)
Every Sanskrit word grows from a primary verb root. Think of it as the Variable in an equation.
- √kṛ (कृ): To do / act
- √vad (वद्): To speak
- √gam (गम्): To go
2. Word Math (Derivation)
How Karma is solved:
$$ \sqrt{kṛ} + \text{man} \xrightarrow{\text{guṇa}} \text{Kar} + \text{man} = \mathbf{Karma} $$
How Anuvāda is solved:
$$ \text{Anu} + \sqrt{vad} + a \xrightarrow{\text{vṛddhi}} \text{Anuvāda} $$
3. Negative Math (NOT Gate)
A- Rule: Before Consonants
$$ A + \text{Sambhava} = \text{Asambhava} $$
An- Rule: Before Vowels
$$ An + \text{Ādara} = \text{Anādara} $$
4. Sound Math (Sandhi)
How prefix/root collisions are solved:
$$ \text{Abhi} (i) + \text{As} (a) \xrightarrow{i+a=y} \mathbf{Abhyās} $$
$$ \text{Ud} (d) + \text{Car} (c) \xrightarrow{d+c=cc} \mathbf{Uccār} $$
